1. When you are on a plane and the kid behind you is kicking your seat, what do you do?
Ignore them. Roll my eyes? I don't like confrontation. Usually I just complain to my flying companion. I'm a very passive aggressive plane passenger.
2. What food that you KNOW is bad for you and you shouldn’t have, but you love/eat it anyway?
Everything? I guess chocolate. Pretty much any kind of sweets...pizza...there are too many. Nachos! COCA-COLA.
(and I'm not ashamed)
3. What is your favorite book of all time?
I kind of hate this question for two reasons: 1) because I have entirely too many favorite books and 2) because I have to admit that my favorite book is probably Summon the Keeper by Tanya Huff (even though most of the time, I say it's American Gods by Neil Gaiman.)
(you should read it...but they don't have it for Kindle, that I can find. Boo.)
4. If I came to visit you in your town, where would we eat? (aren't you glad to know me, three towns-worth of places to eat!)
Seattle: Coffee - Trabant or Cherry Street, Breakfast - Planet Java, Lunch - Blue C, Happy Hour - Contour, Dinner - Sip and/or Purple Cafe.
Boston: Coffee - Espresso Royale (or Dunkin Donuts -- I'm high-class,) Breakfast - Ball Square Cafe, Lunch - Pie (uhm...apparently Pie is closed and that makes me SAD,) or Happy Hour - Sonsie, Dinner - Central Kitchen or The Other Side.
Tallahassee: Coffee - Red Eye or Black Dog, Breakfast - Another Broken Egg or The Crepe Vine, Lunch - Sumosabi, Pitaria or One Fresh, Happy Hour - The Winery or Finnegan's Wake, Dinner - Los Compadres, Jasmine or Bonefish.
5. You have 500 dollars and 40 minutes to spend it at any store you want. Where do you go?
Ooooh....H&M. or Forever21. Do you know how many clothes you could get there with $500? Or the Apple Store! That's most of an iPad =)
6. What blog do you read every day/the most often?
Mostly my friends' and sister's: Liz, Christopher, Tara, Mary, Jeni - when she actually updates for Josie and Mary, Caroline, Catherine. Then, also, Two Adults, Young House Love, Lariats and Lavender, Art for the Heart and Constantly in Transition. And lots, lots more.
7. What’s the longest you’ve ever been stuck at an airport?
I've been lucky and never gotten stuck for too long. I have had, like, 8-hour layovers, though. *knocks on wood*
(EDIT: apparently I just missed copying this one the first time around...)
8. What’s your daily makeup/face/cleansing routine?
I wash my face in the shower at night with cleanser. I use scrub every other day, and every once and a while I use a face mask with salicylic acid. When I get out, I use an astringent/toner and then moisteurizer, and maybe some spot treatment. In the morning I usually use toner to clean off my face and sometimes put on more moisteurizer, if my skin is feeling tight.
9. Where is your farthest away friend?
Oy...actual friend and not people I talk to via le interwebs? Probably Megan, in central FL. I do have family in the Keys. And then I have friends visiting other countries. And facebook friends in Europe =)
10. Where is your favorite place to go hiking (or to enjoy nature)?
The mountains. Especially when there is water involved, like a stream or a lake. We haven't done much of that here in Seattle, but we will. Soon.
