The bad news: We're moving...again.
After visiting the west-facing apartment again on Saturday morning to measure the whole thing from top to bottom, we went back to our current apartment, measured all our furniture and used a room planner to make sure the furniture that we really care about will fit in the space. It will be tight - especially in the bedroom, where we will have less than two feet on either side of the bed (unless of course, we decide to push the bed in the corner and I will use the window still for my nightstand, but we'll see about that!) The living room will be less of a struggle - mostly it's deciding which, of the three we came up with (I'll post them later-on,) way we want to position things. We started going through things on Sunday while we watched a barrage of Disney movies, to try and decide what we could throw out before we actually haul everything upstairs. Thankfully we will have pretty much the weekend (minus Saturday when we're doing our Treasure Hunt!) to move everything up. I'm contemplating trying to take a half-day on Friday to get more things packed and/or moved, so we have less to do on Sunday, but we'll see.
